Every application is reviewed before publication to help maintain accurate profile information.

All profiles undergo a verification process before they are approved.
Only approved and verified profiles are published on Beyond Walls.
Step 3
Users can browse inmate profiles directly through the Beyond Walls website.
Search profiles by state, facility, age, interests, and communication methods. Save favorite profiles and discover new connections from across the United States.
A dedicated Beyond Walls mobile app is planned for the future.
Step 4
Beyond Walls does not provide direct inmate messaging.
Instead, profiles display approved communication methods available at the inmate's facility, such as postal mail, Securus eMessaging, CorrLinks, JPay, GTL / ViaPath, and other approved prison communication systems.
All communication takes place through the correctional facility's authorized channels.
Step 5
Once contact has been established, users can continue corresponding through the facility's approved communication services.
Communication options vary by facility and may include mail, electronic messaging, video visitation, and telephone calls.
